Originally from Notre-Dame-des-Laurentides, Pascal Normand quickly distinguished himself in the field of visual arts. His passion for digital work, particularly night photography, developed in the early 2010s, enriched by his background in cinema. For more than 13 years, Normand has devoted himself fully to the creation and promotion of his pictorial work, which has gained considerable recognition.

His primary inspiration is the textural uniqueness of industrial landscapes and urban architectural jewels. With night photography, he combines digital art and aerosol painting in order to develop another look at these places. A collective memory to which he pays homage by giving life to a current urban aesthetic where evocative settings are implicitly established. From Hochelaga to Saint-Henri or Pointe-Saint-Charles, he searches for the perfect point of view, then as a technique, he opts for the long exposure which reveals details invisible to the naked eye. Then digital intervention and painting are used to create urban scenes bearing his very particular signature.
