Galina Stetco (born in 1975 in Moldova) obtained a degree in architecture in 2000 from the Technical University of Moldova. She emigrated to Canada in 2003 and currently resides in the Montreal region. She has devoted herself exclusively to her work as a painter and sculptor since 2013 and her works are part of private collections in Canada, the United States and Moldova.

Galina Stetco's experience in architecture allows her to master the representation of forms, opting for a figurative technique anchored in realism but nevertheless juxtaposed with her interest in the abstract. For her, art is a mysterious phenomenon that combines both space and matter.
